The Shopify Growth Plan for 2027: What to Fix First

    Back to Blog

Most Shopify brands try to grow by doing more of everything. A better plan is to fix things in order of how much revenue they unlock.

    Step 1: Trust your numbers

Check that GA4 and Shopify Analytics agree on sessions, add-to-carts and orders. If tracking is broken, every other decision is guesswork.

Step 2: Fix the mobile product page

Most traffic is mobile. Make sure price, key benefits, reviews and the add-to-cart button are visible without scrolling, and images load fast.

    Step 3: Remove checkout doubt

Show delivery times, return terms and accepted payment methods before checkout. Surprise costs are the most common reason carts are abandoned.

Step 4: Get found in Google and AI search

Add product and FAQ schema, write pages that answer real buyer questions, and make sure every page has its own title and description.

    Step 5: Build retention flows

Welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase and win-back flows in Klaviyo turn one-time buyers into repeat customers.

    Step 6: Test continuously

Run one meaningful test at a time on high-traffic pages and keep a log of what worked.
